“You already knew, right, that I must have something to deal with dragons? That’s why you baited me to use the card so that you could destroy it.”

Wolf asked, and Joker, who was standing on the opposite side, softly sighed before giving him a smile.

“Isn’t it because your deck can’t have any repeated cards? Since you have to face various types of enemies, I thought there’d be only a few items that were specifically for dragons… Am I correct?”

His answer made Wolf huff out a laugh. Nevertheless, sweat started trailing down his cheek.

“You too, Mr. Wolf. I thought I’d be done with you, but you somehow survived in a split second like that. After all that I’ve put on the line there, and you’re still standing. As expected of a lone wolf. Your instinct isn’t something to be underestimated at all…”

Hearing that, Wolf tugged the corner of his mouth into a smile. Glancing at his and Joker’s mana bars, which were both at zero, he eventually shook his head.
