In the maid cafe of Class 2-C at Satozakura High School, whether staff or visitors, they were unaware that there were two individuals who could easily take their lives.
The term ignorance is bliss is quite fitting to describe the current situation.
If not, they wouldn't be so relaxed when two out of four Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers are chatting. Moreover, one of the Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerers despises non-Jujutsu Sorcerers and big criminals.
"Slurp... So, what's your plan to clean up the trash? Your actions this time can't be ignored just like that."
After sipping his coffee, Suguru looked at Eiji with a meaningful smile.
The 'trash' he referred to was a group of bullies earlier. Although he was the one controlling the Cursed Spirits to kill them, the Curtain was formed by Eiji, and that was an undeniable fact.
"Suguru-san doesn't need to worry about that, I know the consequences of my actions."
"You're becoming more like Satoru. Not just in appearance, but in character too."
"It's not arrogance, but confidence."
Eiji didn't want his nature to be misunderstood as arrogance.
Confidence is an important trait of strong individuals, but arrogance is not!
"... I take back my words, your mindset is more mature than Satoru's."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
Kosaki sipped her iced tea without daring to speak up. The conversation between the two men was full of riddles and could only be understood by them.
Nanako and Mimiko were the same, enjoying their meals at the table.
"Well, nice meeting you here, Eiji. Pass my regards to Satoru when he returns."
"Understood."
"Goodbye. I don't want to disturb your date."
Then, Suguru left the maid cafe with Nanako and Mimiko. He didn't hurry to leave; instead, he continued to wander around enjoying the cultural festival.
"Huft..."
After a while, Kosaki sighed softly. Honestly, she felt uncomfortable as the other party looked down on her.
"Are you okay, Kamiki-kun?" She asked with concern.
"What do you mean?" Eiji asked back, looking at her puzzled.
Kosaki hesitated whether she should say what she was thinking.
"Just say it, I won't get mad."
Realizing her hesitation, Eiji explained.
"Isn't that guy a dangerous fugitive? Kamiki-kun let him go just like that? If anyone else finds out, you'll be held accountable."
"That's all? You don't need to worry, I'll be fine. The political authority of the Gojo Family is much greater than you think."
"Is that so... I'm relieved to hear that."
Kosaki trusted Eiji without doubt.
"Thank you for worrying about me."
"It's normal. After all, you are our benefactor."
Avoiding his gaze, Kosaki tried not to show the blush on her cheeks.
"Benefactor, huh..." Eiji murmured softly.
...
"Where to next?" Eiji asked, putting his wallet away after paying the bill.
"How about watching the dramas performed by each class?"
"Sure."
Agreeing to Kosaki's suggestion, Eiji followed her to the gymnasium.
The distance between the teaching building and the gymnasium was not too far. If it weren't for the many people attending the school festival, they could have arrived earlier.
Entering the gymnasium, the seats were already filled with people who came to watch.
"All the seats are taken? Sorry, Kamiki-kun, let's go."
Kosaki was disappointed not to find any available seats.
"Follow me."
Without explaining the details, Eiji grabbed her hand and dragged her along.
"Hyaaaiii?!"
Surprised by suddenly being held, Kosaki obediently followed him from behind.
"Sit down."
Releasing her hand, Eiji sat down in a chair and pointed to the one next to him.
"Ah, okay."
Like a chicken pecking rice, Kosaki complied with his words. Then she asked curiously, "How did Kamiki-kun know there were still empty seats?"
It should be noted, the lighting in the gymnasium was very dim, and only the stage was illuminated. This was to give the audience's full attention to the stage.
This is why she gave up seeing all the seats already occupied.
"My eyes can see in the dark, and my vision is very good."
Taking off his sunglasses, Eiji showed his dark blue eyes like a bright sky.
"As expected from Kamiki-kun, you're amazing."
Kosaki couldn't take her eyes off those beautiful eyes until Eiji put his glasses back on.
Next, they both watched various performances from different classes.
Some classes performed dramas like Romeo and Juliet, the story of Momotaro, Cinderella, and others.
There were also classes that showcased performances like comedy shows, band music, or quiz games involving the audience.
Eiji was selected as a participant in the quiz game along with four other audience members.
With him there, the outcome was predictable.
The other participants could only watch him press the button with incredible speed and answer all the host's questions without a single mistake.
Stepping down from the stage amidst the cheers of the audience, Eiji walked to his seat and handed a teddy bear to Kosaki.
The teddy bear was a prize for winning the quiz game.
"For you."
"I can't accept it. Kamiki-kun won it with difficulty, you should take good care of it."
Although she found the teddy bear in front of her very cute, Kosaki refused his offer.
"Just take it. If you don't want it, I'll throw it away." Eiji said frankly.
He was a real man, it was not appropriate for him to keep a teddy bear in his room.
He's not a sissy. Besides, he was worried that if his cousin returned and saw the teddy bear displayed in his room, he would be mocked and laughed at.
"In that case, thank you."
Taking the teddy bear from his hand, Kosaki hugged it tightly.
After that, the stage resumed performing cheap dramas that made people sleepy.
Eiji was tired of watching dramas, so he invited Kosaki to leave the gymnasium.
The two of them wandered around the school, visiting stalls that they found interesting, and before they knew it, it was already late afternoon.
Through the loudspeaker, it was announced that the school festival would soon end and visitors were asked to leave the school premises.
As an outsider, Eiji couldn't stay any longer.
"Thank you, Kamiki-kun, I had a great time today."
At the school gate, Kosaki saw him off.
"Um. I also had fun. Goodbye, Kosaki-san."
"Goodbye."
Saying their farewells, Kosaki turned back towards her classroom. After all, she couldn't go home immediately; there were many tasks waiting for her, such as celebrations for the students and tidying up the decorations.
Seeing that her figure was no longer visible, Eiji was about to leave, but a phone call stopped his steps.
"Hello."
"Not good, Kamiki-sama, you are called by the higher-ups to meet them now!"
Ijichi's anxious voice was heard from the phone.
"Oh."
Eiji had to admit, the efficiency of the Jujutsu Headquarters was excellent. They called him because of the Curtain he set up at Satozakura High School earlier today.
"Alright. I'm still at Satozakura High School, come pick me up."
"Understood. I'll be there soon."
The conversation ended shortly.
"Let's see what those elders are up to..."
Looking at the twilight sky, Eiji wanted to know the higher-ups stance on his law-breaking behavior.
