บท 129: a shock

One week passed.

Valerie was in the bathroom, looking at the row of pregnancy tests displaying results. There were 8 in total, each from a different brand, ranging from small, medium, and square, all of which she used to get a valid result because lately she had been feeling nauseous and hadn't had her period since marrying Damian.

"If this is positive, if I'm pregnant... Damian will be so happy... But maybe Daniel will be sad... He'll have to stop getting breast milk from me," she said anxiously, then picked up one of the tests and her eyes widened instantly.

"Oh my...."

The woman trembled, her eyes instantly feeling hot, and tearing up, then picked up another test, almost all of them showing positive results while only one showed a negative result.

"Oh God, this is happening!" she exclaimed, tears streaming down her face, immediately reminded of Damian who wanted a baby so much. "He must be happy!"
