บท 112: In a Good Mood

Ye Heng was unaware of what he had missed until the next day.

It was slightly after lunch hour when he received a phone call from Tang Shi Yi. 

Ye Heng stared at his phone for a few seconds longer as if he was finding it hard to believe that Tang Shi Yi would call him. Just as the call was about to enter the voicemail, Ye Heng finally picked up the phone call.

"Hello? Ye Heng?" Tang Shi Yi's voice was heard on the other line. 

Ye Heng leaned on the chair behind him and smiled. "Shi Yi."

"Are you busy?" Tang Shi Yi asked cautiously.

He glanced at the piling documents on his table. Ye Heng was planning to look into them before his phone rang. "Not quite. It is still bearable. But of course, I can make time for you if you want to talk."

Tang Shi Yi chuckled on the other line. Her heart was beating fast at Ye Heng's remark. She wondered if he knew just how much his words could affect him.
