Daisy patiently waited for the man to speak as she took a seat on the opposite couch but when the man did not say anything after a few minutes had passed, her brows tugged together slightly.

The loud ringing of a phone broke the silence in the room. Perhaps because Little Angel was sleeping, Ryle did not make a moment's delay in taking out his phone and answering the call.
