Three years passed, and the day when John Prince, as promised, was to pay Tobias in full came—but John didn't show up, as promised.
This brought a foreboding feeling to Tobias' chest.
The next day, Eileen received an owl stating that her brother had died in an accident.
After the funeral of John, who died without fulfilling the promise he had made to the Muggle Tobias who married his sister, John left behind a will as head of the Prince family.
Since Eileen had married and gone to another family, he stated that if he had no descendants, his sister could not become the direct head of House Prince. Instead, they would need to wait until their descendant awakened their magic and became a wizard.
From that day onwards, Tobias became violent and aggressive. He started to treat Eileen poorly.
Looking at the real face of the man she had forgiven and lived with, she gritted her teeth and accepted her fate. What could she do? She was bound by the marriage contract—she couldn't leave, betray, or hurt Tobias.
