บท 102: Were you looking for me?

Chen Mumu sneezed, waking herself up. She sniffed as she wiped her face to get rid of the remnants of the sneeze.

Once fully awake, she realized she was no longer by Xu Jingli's side as she had been when she fell asleep.

Instead, she was now on his bed. The sheets smelled so much like him that she didn't want to get up.

He pulled them close to her and inhaled his heavenly scent. He always smelt like sandalwood and something you would find in the forest. It was heavenly.

Yet the man whose scent filled the room was nowhere to be seen, and Chen Mumu instantly felt worried. He had been very sick earlier. She was worried running around would only make him worse.

She didn't know this place well enough to guess where Xu Jingli might have gone.

His place wasn't very big, but it was still quite spacious compared to other homes. She spotted the slippers he had set out for her and quickly put them on.
