บท 29: He is already engaged

Chen Mumu's mood had plummeted after Xia Fei's visit. She had planned to do a lot of things today but she could not do so now.

She had been thinking a lot about what Xia Fei had said. If it was true that she was trying to get Chen Xu and Xu Jingli to marry then Chen Mumu was worried that it might come true.

Chen Family was behind Chen Xu and Chen Murong was very wealthy which meant that he could see this as a business partnership and allow Chen Xu to get together with Xu Jingli!

Xu Family would also see this marriage as a prospect for increasing their profits.

Chen Xu's past could be wiped clean and she would be the new Xu madam. Just the thought made Chen Mumu almost throw up.

Even though she had only met Xu Jingli recently, she knew that Chen Xu was just not the woman for him!

It could be anyone else, just not Chen Xu!
