บท 175: Chapter 175: The Invasion of Apokolips
Desaad, as Darkseid's most loyal subordinate, was sent to Earth to assist Superman in the complete occupation of the planet. However, the appearance of this mysterious figure has caused him some unease.

Fortunately, with Cyborg's formidable firepower, they weren't overrun immediately.
"Bruce, we can't keep this up or we'll be drained by these damned bugs," said the grim-faced Clock King, dressed in mercenary attire. He shot at the nearest Parademons with precision while urgently speaking to Batman.
"Hmph, even if we die, we'll kill every last one of these damned insects!" Mera, holding a slightly bent trident, responded firmly while thrusting it into the void behind her. The silver trident pierced through a Parademon trying to ambush her from behind and was then used to fling the dead body into the crowd, crushing several others.
"We can die, but we must not die in vain!" The Flash darted around the group, his incredible speed creating a protective electric field. Any Parademon that came close was easily shattered by his force.
"That's right. We have more important things to do, so we can't stop here!" Batman, engaged in close combat with a Parademon, exploited a gap in its defenses and threw it onto the hard rock. After landing several more punches to its terrifying face, he finally took it down.
Taking a deep breath, Batman realized that his current combat power was barely enough to handle these minor foes. However, as he spoke, he gazed at the distant sky with a faint smile.
It was not an illusion born from the surrounding swarm. He felt that their reinforcements were on the way.

A wailing sound filled the air as a dark shadow rapidly flew across the sky in the distance. In a matter of moments, it traversed several kilometers, arriving at the rear of the Parademon army.
Tat-tat-tat!
Before the Parademons could react to this sudden intrusion and prepare themselves, several terrifying tongues of fire erupted from the black bat-shaped aircraft as it cut through the void.
Special tracer bullets streaked through the sky, creating a barrage that ignited any Parademon they struck, turning them into blazing infernos. These burning creatures plummeted to the ground, thrashing about before disintegrating into ashes.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
As the tracer bullets continued their relentless assault, the aircraft extended several missiles from its underside. These missiles, with a deathly whistle, struck the densely packed Parademon areas, exploding into brilliant flashes of light, like fireworks bursting in the sky.
"Bruce, is this your backup plan?" someone asked Batman, unable to contain their surprise as they watched the aircraft penetrate the Parademon army, clearing a path and eliminating countless foes.
Batman smiled but quickly regained a serious expression. Though they had backup support, escaping the relentless pursuit of the Parademon army was far from guaranteed, especially with Superman, now a feared enemy, leading the charge.
"However... all hope is not lost," Batman thought, his gaze fixed on a figure in the distance. This figure, even the Parademons seemed to fear, as they deliberately avoided it.
Boom!
Suddenly, a deafening roar erupted from the distant ground. The rubble that had buried Superman's body exploded outward. A figure darted through the debris with incredible speed, the tattered cape on its back slowly repairing itself.
This figure radiated intense anger, breaking the sound barrier as it hurtled toward the mysterious figure in Batman's line of sight with terrifying speed.
"As expected..." Batman knew that Superman's steel body wouldn't be defeated so easily. He also anticipated a monumental battle between Superman and the mysterious figure.
However, the ensuing events left Batman momentarily speechless. As Superman charged at the mysterious figure with unstoppable force, capable of piercing through rock and steel, he was abruptly slapped aside.
With even greater speed, Superman was sent crashing in the opposite direction, smashing into several unfortunate Parademons in midair.
Even as Superman's body hit the ground, it continued to plow through the earth, digging a trench several meters deep and extending for hundreds of meters before finally disappearing beneath the surface.
"This... is unbelievable!" Batman realized that the confrontation between the two was far beyond the epic battle he had imagined. The situation was even more incredible and shocking than he could have anticipated.

Moments later, the ground nearly a kilometer away was violently shaking. The earth trembled, producing thunderous sounds like muffled drums.

Suddenly, a pitch-black fissure began to open on the ground. It was as if an earthquake had struck, creating a sense of utter terror.
"What is... oh my god!" Batman and his allies were initially puzzled, not understanding what had triggered the sudden quake.
It wasn't until they saw the black fissure rapidly widening and forming a circular pattern on the ground, and the massive section of the surface rising and separating from the surrounding earth, that they understood the cause of the tremors.
A section of the surface, several hundred to a thousand meters in diameter, had completely detached from the ground and was slowly rising into the air.
At the top of this funnel-shaped rock was the familiar figure of Superman. He was lifting a massive rock that dwarfed his body, in a manner that was shockingly impressive.
Furious after the setbacks, Superman's eyes blazed with intense rage, the crimson light seeming capable of tearing everything apart.
Without hesitation, he threw the rock, weighing millions of tons, towards Peter's location. He then followed the rock, using his own strength to accelerate it rapidly.
The sheer power of the move was chilling.
Countless Parademons were crushed into bloody pulp under the weight of the rock. The flying island-like rock barreled toward Peter at incredible speed.
"Everyone, get out of here!"
Seeing the rock approaching like a small mountain, everyone struggled to remain calm and quickly retreated to the perimeter.
Even though the mysterious figure seemed unafraid and did not choose to flee, they couldn't be sure they would survive under such a monstrous onslaught.
Despite the rock's weight of millions of tons, its speed, propelled by Superman, was still incredibly fast.
It bore down on Peter with the force of a mountain.
"Heh, small matter."
Although Superman's current display seemed overwhelming, it posed no real threat to Peter, who had once withstood being crushed by a planet.
Boom!
As the massive shadow began to cover Peter, the edge of the rock was about to collide with him. Peter finally clenched his fist and punched the rock, which was like a small mountain, with a single blow.
Boom… Crack!
The instant Peter's fist hit the rock, it shattered the biological force field Superman had enveloped around it.
In the next moment, an immense force erupted, causing the entire rock to crack apart.
Within the shattered center of the rock, a figure swiftly penetrated through.
"How… is this possible!"
In Superman's incredulous gaze, the figure appeared almost instantaneously in front of him. The punch that had shattered the rock then struck him fiercely.

Superman was blasted away. The terrifying speed surpassed even his flight speed within Earth's atmosphere, propelling him out of the atmosphere in mere seconds.
Even Superman's steel-like body seemed unable to withstand such terrifying force and began to collapse. His skin, and the Kryptonian battle suit bearing the emblem of hope, began to tear apart.
A massive fist-shaped dent appeared on his once proud chest.
It seemed as though his steel body was being completely perforated by such immense power.
His figure drifted rapidly outside the atmosphere, moving away from the once blue, now shadowed, planet.
Drifting in the boundless, dark, and lonely universe.
As if destined to be utterly silenced and perish!

"Great Lord Darkseid, I have important news to report to you!"
Not long ago, Desaad successfully made contact with Apokolips, which was far from Earth.
Without hesitation, he knelt before the figure floating in the void, pledging his allegiance, and quickly began to speak.
"What's the matter? Haven't you completely eliminated the resistance on Earth yet?"
Sitting on his throne, Darkseid slowly opened his tightly shut eyes. His deep red eyes, piercing through the endless void, gazed at the kneeling Desaad with a hint of displeasure on his face.

Desaad, trembling under Darkseid's icy gaze, hurriedly relayed all the information he had just received.

Darkseid's curiosity was piqued. Even he had to put in considerable effort to face a fully powered Kryptonian.
