บท 230: Chapter 230 : Year's End
Months pass like days and days like seconds after that last incident of that year, making both Daphne and Rose believe in his words was much harder than he anticipated, though he did have many corresponding proofs of his tale about the past and what would come in the future, those two girls just wasn't ready to accept that world is coming to an end in few years if the boy in front of them didn't get his shit together.
Orion wouldn't blame them either, he wouldn't believe himself at times like this, let alone others. But it was true, and when Orion stuck with his words for more than a day, they also started to believe that it wasn't a prank by the said boy.
At least he doesn't pull one on them often, especially nowadays.
Of course, Orion only told them a very selective part of this story. Nothing regarding his reincarnation and Merlin either. In fact, the amount of loopholes he left behind was so much that he knew was sure that sooner or later either of the ones, mostly Daphne, would find it out and come after him.
But that was fine, as long as they knew, his goal was achieved, believing or not wasn't exactly important.
All Orion wanted from them was that they remain vigilant of Nick from now on.
Nick himself was in the infirmary for a few days, Orion really got him good there. Entire jaw shatter to the point that if it was a normal hospital then maybe he might never have been fully cured.
But magic is well... Magical...
And Madam Pomfrew is just something else when it comes to healing. Make her younger and give her bigger boobs and you have a Tsunade in hand. Hell, she was blond when young.
Anyways, after that day, Iron kept his distance from both Orion and Rose. Maybe this had something to do with Hermione as Dobby after then on spend more time spying on Nick, and hearing some not-so-pleasant conversation between those two.
Orion wasn't sure what they were talking about as Dobby wasn't able to understand all that shouting and trying. That with Dobby explaining it in his own house elves way, so yeah.
But needless to say, Orion after that didn't get any problem from Nick. Good thing because Orion wasn't lying when he said that next time he would kill him.
Can he?
Yes of course.
Does he want to?
Even more than losing his V card at this point.
Should he?
NO!
The problem of death was still there, Orion wasn't strong enough to handle her. It's not like she will come on her own, technically she can't come to the world of living like that, otherwise world would have been doomed long ago.
It's the trouble she can cause that Orion is afraid off, like sending demons or deceased souls after him. What then?
He has to be strong, strong enough that those kinds of things are useless against him. Only then he is willing to go against her.
When it comes to both death eaters and Grindelwald, things were just like how they were before to Orion's surprise.
Even after many of those death eaters got out of Azkaban, they did nothing. Both the ministry and Auror work really hard to track them down but nothing. They didn't find even a clue. Its was almost like they all vanished from thin air.
Nothing impossible in the magical world mind you but still not leaving behind any clue was both strange and troublesome. Because now there are ten if not hundreds of death eaters roaming in the magical Britain without checks.
It's a very dangerous situation. The ministry was trying to suppress the situation as well but it was hard. So they just outright transfer the blame for their incompetence to Grindelwald.
Stating he was behind this...
And just like sheep, this crowd of magical dumbos believed it.
Though by no means does that mean that Grindelwald was innocent, just in this case he was.
In fact, he was making more trouble than ever. Raiding many of the cities, both magical and muggles alike.
Capturing strongholds and gathering force. Dumbledore on an urgent note had to come back to Britain, which gave Grindelwald and his alliance full liberty to be lawless as much as he wanted to.
Many innocent died because of him. Orion whenever got the information through the newspaper just gritted his teeth. He met the man, he could have stopped him. But he too knew that he wasn't strong enough to have a 100% chance of winning.
'Everything comes down to that I guess. Person Strength.' Orion sigh.
"Orion! What are you thinking? Let's go." Rose shouted as both of them with Daphne made their way towards the Hogsmeade station.
This was finally the end of the 3rd year of Hogwarts.
"Coming coming, though I have no idea why," Orion said as he rolled his eyes. Going to the train station was completely unnecessary as he wasn't gonna board it, to both Daphne and Roses's dismay. Orion had just teleported himself to the new place he had recently. That saved him a lot of time, but he came nonetheless.
He wanted to send off both of his girls.
YUP, his girls.
He had much time to decide and couldn't choose one. 'I mean who can choose between Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson?
I sure can't.
I need both of them.
BOTH IS GOOD.'
But Orion had no idea how to ask both of them out. He himself sure can't share any of his girls with another boy. So expecting them to share him is just...wrong.
But still, he will figure out something. For the time being he has not thought about this and has not talked about this to her either.
"Now remember to write this time. I honestly will hex you if you don't" Rose narrowed her eyes threateningly. Resembling a ginger cat.
"You will get my daily log reports on time, Madam." Orion just raises his hands, not wanting to start with yet another session of him trying to coax the mad girl who is obviously faking it.
"Good, it better be." Rose giggle. She has grown quite a bit.
Was wearing jeans and a tight black sweater, which hugged her curves pretty nicely.
This was more of a tomboy here.
"And what about me," Daphne asked from the side. She too was looking more mature and unlike the residential tomboy, she was wearing a long skirt and a shirt. Quite feminine if Orion had anything to say, that accompanied with blond hair, she was very pretty.
Jennifer Lawrence and Scarlett Johansson remember!
"You two, you two. Now get in. The train leaves in a few minutes.
Pouting the girls just huffed and got on the train. Orion helps them with their luggage while ready to teleport himself as well.
"Take care alright? And don't do anything troublesome again for Merlin's sake." both Rose and Daphne said with a deadpan voice.
"Hey, that's not nice."
[Yeah, I am already dead, give me some rest.]
giggling they just waved back to Orion as the train left.
Once the train was gone Orion too was ready to depart.
[You ready. Another long training awaits] Merlin smirk.
"Yeah yeah, I will get Law of Matter in this time. That I vow." Orion purses his lips.
His progress in in Law of Matter was bare minimum at best even after all this time. So Orion was ready to go on another long training inside that Time Chamber.
He just hopes that things have enough magical power to last him.
Orion sighed and suddenly with a light vanished from his place...
