บท 299: No Other Choice

One thing Sophia knew for sure was that suppressants were birth control for alphas. She read that a few times in the literature she was sent home with from Dr. Ashberg. 

Luca had also explained to her how reliant he was on suppressants for most of his life so it wouldn't be abnormal if he couldn't get her pregnant for a very long time, if ever. She remembered feeling disappointed. They were at such a comfortable place in their relationship, that she would have given him a baby if he asked her to. 

However, now that they were separated, it couldn't have been worse timing to broach the topic. Her life was up in the air and she didn't know where they would be in days, let alone months. She couldn't even imagine a year into the future. 

Seeing that Sophia was entirely speechless, the doctor raised a hand.
