His words made her smile and Skyla threw a tentative look at herself and said.

"I like them too."

"It's settled then, beside you are going to live with me from now on. So you will be wearing these at home."

He threw in so casually as if it was not a big deal that she had run away from her abusive husband, from her home of nine years and everything that she had known.

She stared down at her hidden hands, only her fingers were poking out.

"I understand what you mean but living like this will raise so many questions and fingers. His toxic fans will come for me and I don't want you to be affected by that. So it will be better if I live with Huria until the divorce is settled and then see from there."

She knew once the news got out the media and paparazzi would follow her and seeing her living with her boss would lead to disaster.
