Saile's revelation left Gauis momentarily speechless and visibly shocked. The concept of regressing in time was fantastical, even in a world where wizardry and arcane mysteries were commonplace. To think that his teacher, the Grand Tutor Saile, had experienced something similar to the legendary Elandrial's Time Paradox was beyond astonishing!

"You... regressed?" Gauis finally managed to articulate his shock, his voice laced with disbelief and intrigue. "How is that possible, Teacher?"

Saile leaned back in his chair before he spoke,

"Yes, I have. It's a long and complex story, but the essence of it is that I found myself back in time after I died. I regressed to when I was a child and gained the opportunity to alter the course of events that were yet to unfold, to make different choices for a better future for everyone in Serphendale and beyond."

"And did you? Change the course of events, I mean." Gauis asked.
