Chapter 615
Cheng Dalei was cornered in the carriage, his hands and feet bound, unable to move.
His gaze fell helplessly on Zhou Tao and lingered as he witnessed her disrobing and putting on the clothes of a previously stripped coachman. She took off her own clothes, revealing a delicate body as clear and smooth as jade. Cheng Dalei stared without blinking; Zhou Tao seemed indifferent, treating him as if he were a dead man.
"A beauty by nature, sadly resorted to thievery," sighed Cheng Dalei.
All of a sudden, a dagger appeared in Zhou Tao's palm, its cold edge swiftly swiped across, cutting off three strands of hair from Cheng Dalei's forehead.
"A good knife," Cheng Dalei could not help but compliment.
She wanted to scare Cheng Dalei into silence, but he seemed oblivious to the danger looming before him. Zhou Tao was somewhat speechless, saying, "If I go any closer, you'll die right here."
"Dying under your knife would be my fate," Cheng Dalei retorted.
