As Shen Lan was pondering over the design draft, Director Li Na, sauntering in with a disdainful look on her face, spotted her seemingly "daydreaming".

"Shen Lan, the Star Gathering competition is about to begin. You have been with the company as a figurehead for quite a while. Are you planning to make some contribution? Don't think that because your ex-husband is collaborating with us and chose you as the designer, everything is set in stone now!"

The sudden sharp voice at her ear gave Shen Lan a bit of a turn and she leant away slightly, not forgetting to reply though.

"Oh, sure, no problem."

Thinking that Shen Lan would come up with all sorts of excuses to refuse, Li Na was somewhat taken aback by her easy agreement, so she decided to pick faults elsewhere.
