ตอน 58: Chapter 58 - Druid Staffs

Returning to the present,

".....and that's how I found myself here."

"So, Anna is considering becoming a student of these... trees?"

"Yes, she gives off the same vibe as Hagrid or members of the Scamander family," added Ollivander.

"Yes, I sense that too. So, I don't mind if you join us."

"But... I'm not a witch..."

Upon hearing this, Asmodeus slapped his forehead.

"Sorry, it's confidential information, but for some reason, I thought you knew."

"Knew what?"

"Magical rings. Thanks to them, you can also become a witch. In short, they work not only for Muggles. The world just isn't ready for a complete transformation yet."

"So... you're saying that everyone in the world can become a wizard?"

"Bingo!"

"Why are you telling us this? We're meeting you for the first time in our lives, and we've spent less than a week in the magical world..."

"Well, first of all, even if you go shouting about it on Muggle streets, the Muggle government will quickly cover it up. Second, I don't think anyone in their right mind would refuse to become a wizard. Third, I can incinerate you at any moment." Asmodeus's eyes flashed red, indicating that he was ready to use magic.

Otto and Anna gulped, seeing those red eyes staring at them.

"Ha-ha-ha, okay, don't be afraid like that. I just decided to scare you. Actually, I would simply make you forget this conversation."

"Hehehe," Anna and Otto awkwardly chuckled.

"Oh, Asmodeus, why scare people like that? Now they're afraid of you."

"Oh, come on, old man. Everyone who knows me knows that I'm very friendly."

"Yeah, especially when you threaten to burn something or someone..."

"Okay, guys, are you willing to go with me? Otherwise, I'll have to tie up this old man and put him in a sack."

"We..."

"I agree!"

"Anna?"

"Darling, you know, I really liked this world, and I don't want to be away from you. Becoming a witch, especially of a rare profession, is a good way to stay in the magical world."

"Anna, you know I would never leave you for some magic."

"I know, dear, I just don't want to hold you back. Besides, we can open our cafe in this world!"

".....thank you."

"Sigh... it's nice to be young," whispered Ollivander quietly.

"Sorry to interrupt, but about the cafe. If you do decide to stay in the magical world, becoming a druid will help you open a cafe."

"How so???"

"I'll explain upon arrival. So, are you coming?"

"We're coming!"

"Fine, I'll make staffs for these druids then... Wait five minutes; I need to get the materials."

Ollivander walked to the back of the shop, muttering to himself.

"Oh, what a waste. How many wands can you make from one staff? But no, these silly druids want a staff! Maybe I should just give them a log..."

After five minutes, Asmodeus' company arrived at the teleportation square in the village of Adastra.

Asmodeus set the portal for five minutes, sent Anna, Otto, and Ollivander ahead, and followed them.

Anna and Otto, holding hands, entered the portal and once again felt the familiar sensation of being pushed.

After some time, they opened their eyes.

"Wow!"

"Beautiful..."

"Maybe I shouldn't have refused earlier...?"

"See, that's what I told you in the letter. It's worth sacrificing seven staffs for a view like this."

"Maybe you're right..."

"Alright, you'll have time to admire the views. This place will be the main sanctuary of the druids, and a village will be built at the foot of the mountains."

"So, that's what you meant by saying that becoming a druid will help us open a cafe..."

"Yes, this land belongs to the druids, and I have no right to dispose of it. You'll have to negotiate the purchase of the land with them, and if any of you becomes an apprentice, I think it will be very easy. Besides, once the druids return to the world, tourists will flock here, making the place profitable."

"Mr. Morningstar, may I ask a question?"

"Well?"

"Why are you doing all this?"

"What, this?"

"Well... you're making the magical world what it is now. I read about you in the brochure. It says the magical world has changed a lot since you appeared in it..."

"Well... let's put it this way - I didn't like the state the magical world was in, and I also benefit from my actions..."

Upon hearing this, Anna nodded, thinking that Asmodeus was referring to his increased influence and the prosperity of the Morningstar family.

"Okay, let's go; the ents are waiting for us."

After a couple of minutes, the group exited the cave.

"Valchar, I've brought another potential druid and an old man who wants to make staffs for you!"

While Asmodeus spoke with the ents, the trio behind him looked in surprise at these beings.

"Anna, do you see what I see?"

"Yes, I see it too. Mr. Ollivander?"

"Yes, talking tree..."

"Ahem, ahem. Actually, we are ents."

A voice came from behind. It was Zormeros. He descended from the mountain with Luna Lovegood sitting on his shoulder.

"Oh, sorry, we didn't mean to offend..."

"It's okay; our appearance may seem a bit frightening to those unfamiliar with us."

"Yes, Zormeros and the other ents are very nice!" Luna said, not taking her eyes off the dandelion in her hand. Zormeros enchanted the dandelion when he took her as his apprentice.

Now each of the six potential druids has their mentor:

- Luna - Zormeros

- Newt Scamander - Garthor

- Richard Scamander (Newt's son) - Akxus

- Rolf Scamander - Kosthos

- Hagrid - Skarakas

- Cedric - Aril

Only Valchar has not yet taken an apprentice, as he is intended to be responsible for managing the village and training apprentices in Asmodeus's academy.

By the way, because Asmodeus now has this "special teacher," he will have to make changes to the design of the academy's inner courtyard... Grindelwald and the construction crew won't be happy about it.

After some time, Asmodeus summoned Ollivander to the ents.

"Here. He will help you choose the wood and make the staff."

"Good evening, actually, we think we already know which wood suits each of us. But we need a reliable craftsman..."

"Okay, but I still plan to test your compatibility with different types of wood to be sure."

"Fair enough..."

Seeing that Ollivander and the ent found common ground, Asmodeus left them alone and walked closer to the entrance of the cave. There, six ents and their apprentices, as well as Anna and Otto, were watching them.
