บท 35: CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE

In split seconds, Beta Xavier slays every single one of them before my very eyes.

I reach for the handle of my sword and simultaneously start to end this madness of Beta Xavier, but Hendrix is quick to grab me by my hand and pull me to himself, trapping me firmly, hence preventing any smart move.

"Babe, please allow me to handle this." Hendrix whispers to my hearing.

"No. What the hell is wrong with him? This is totally wrong." I respond to Hendrix but loud enough for Beta Xavier to hear and possibly stop the stupidity.

As daring as he is, he continues.

"A hundred and one percent." Hendrix agrees. "Which is why you should stay put and allow me to handle things with him." He whispers again.

"What are you doing?!" I yell at Beta Xavier. "Stop this minute!" I command, even though the deed has already been done.

He doesn't listen to me as he wipes off the last one, and proceeds to wipe the blade of his sword neat on their lifeless bodies.
