บท 44: Chapter 44
"Do you know what's the weakness of Edo Tensei?" Kuzo asked, showing confidence in his voice that he knew the answer.
Orochimaru paused, seemingly to think of an answer.
'Itachi Uchiha's existence. But If I say it now, I'd sound like an idiot.'
Kuzo was about to dash at Orochimaru. But golden chains appeared from nowhere, heading toward his legs. Feeling danger, Kuzo used body flicker to change his location.
Kuzo had to look. What he saw was a red-haired beauty, Kushina Uzumaki, the mother of Naruto. Her chains had the power to bring the 9 tails down. You know, half of the 9 tails had enough power that he could give an army of shinobi power parallel to one tailed beast. Kuzo could have the power of thousands of shinobi. But if you combine it, it won't reach what the nine tails had when it came to chakra. His clones won't be able to handle that chain.
"Even you won't handle the sealing chains of the Uzumaki clan." Mocked Orochimaru, his body's lower half morphing into a snake.
"Let me see this then." Kuzo jumped into the air, a Rasengan appearing in his hand. When he did this jutsu, the chains stopped chasing him as if the caster was in stun.
Kuzo didn't stop here. As Orochimaru was about to dodge the Rasengan, Kuzo poured more nature chakra into it.

The Rasengan became so big that it could cover a whole room.
Orochimaru opened his eyes widely, unable to dodge.
A large shock wave followed.
The building they were in was turned into a sand-like dust.
The people who were inside flew in every direction. They weren't hit directly, so they could survive with injuries.
Kuzo landed on the crumbles of the building along with his clones.
Orochimaru appeared, but he wasn't unharmed.
His arm went missing. He puked blood out of his mouth.
"You're not the same as before. What a formidable jutsu," replied Orochimaru, staring at Kuzo with crazed eyes. "But losing an arm or two is nothing to me."
Kuzo scoffed. "You are lucky we fought in a village. If not for it, I would have used the same Jutsu I used to destroy the sound."
"What!" Orochimaru opened his eyes widely. "It was you who did it."
Kuzo nodded.
Biting on his lips, Orochimaru opened his mouth, a snake coming out of it with a sword.
Kuzo appeared in front of Orochimaru, holding the head of the snake.
"As if I'll let you do that."
Orochimaru smirked, many snakes appeared from his body and jumped at Kuzo from every direction.
If this was Kuzo from before, then he might have got bitten, and the spikes of the bones would have done nothing but lessen the number of the snakes.
Bones spikes growing, wind wrapping them, Kuzo let the snake away. He then waved his limbs and rolled his body while in front of Orochimaru.
The snakes were cut into pieces, their blood falling on Kuzo.
Orochimaru jumped backward. But the wind blades had got him deeply wounded.
Not giving him a chance to escape, Kuzo continued.

From Kuzo, a fireball that was ten times larger than the usual one, and hotter, headed toward Orochimaru, who summoned a very giant snake instantly to take the attack. It was around 4 kilometers in length and had around 70 meters in thickness.
"Orochimaru. How dare you use me as a shield." Howled the snake. In pain, it groaned when its tail hit the barrier, setting it on flame.
"If you have time to be angry, then kill that kid." Said Orochimaru, "Manda. I'll leave the rest to you."
'You won't fucking escape.' Kuzo looked at Orochimaru when Manda opened its gigantic mouth to devour him. Kuzo didn't bother even dodging. Instead, he merged with the flesh of the snake.
Orochimaru smirked when he saw that, saying, "It went easier. Don't underestimate him Manda, and release your acid instantly."
Just as his words were done, Kuzo appeared from Manda's body, standing in front of Orochimaru.
The snake sage was surprised that he weaved his hand quickly.
But Kuzo had already finished casting his jutsu. From his mouth, a clay-like matter extended and pierced the snake's neck. To make things worse for Orochimaru, Kuzo channeled the lightning nature chakra. He then moved his head, cutting Orochimaru's head and holding it with his hand.
Orochimaru's head was quite alive. But the thing about Kuzo, he didn't need you to die. He only needed a fatal wound to absorb someone's spirit, and that's what happened to Orochimaru. All of his jutsus, knowledge, speed, power, and chakra were absorbed.
Kuzo looked at his hand. 'I can use Edo Tensei, Possess someone's else body. And a lot of kinjutsu. Most importantly, I can change my skin like a snake. My lower half as well. I'm immune to most poisons too. Nice.'
He thought. He then turned his head. The Edo Tensei puppets were still moving, and since he killed Orochimaru, he couldn't send them back to the other life. The last order they had was to break the barrier.
He thought of something while looking at Naruto's mom. 'Maybe this should work.'
The barrier was undone. The undead shinobi stopped, as if they were waiting for a command.
Kuzo lifted Orochimaru's head when he noticed many of the sand's shinobis were here.
"Dear Sand Shinobi. The one you thought was your Kage was Orochimaru." He said, earning a shocked face from everyone here. "And I know what your plan was all along. So, once I deal with this mess, I better find the responsible one waiting for me."
The troublesome thing about Orochimaru's Edo Tensei was that they don't appear to be undead as there were no cracks on their faces, nor were their eyes completely black.
Kuzo then ignored everyone as he went behind Kushina and put his hand on the back of her head.
There was a controlling talisman inside her head.
Activating the power of gluttony, he absorbed the seal.
"What's going on?" Kushina asked, looking at Kuzo's forehead. "You're a Konoha shinobi. Why am I in this life again? And why was Orochimaru doing this."
"It's a long story," Kuzo replied. "Now, would you like to help me capture that one?" He pointed at the Raikage and two others who seemed like Kage level. He was sure that once he absorbed the seal, they, especially the Raikage, would be time-consuming to deal with.
Kushina nodded, releasing golden chains from her body.
She and Kuzo then worked together.
Kuzo tried to kill one of them, but he couldn't absorb their spirits, and they came back to life again.
'Maybe I could do it if I release the Edo Tensei. But I can't do it now Orochimaru is dead. But I can always use Edo Tensie to revive Orochimaru. Still, I want to absorb the powers of these guys.'
Kuzo sealed every shinobi with a talisman before putting them back in the coffins. Since he had Orochimaru's chakra now, he could control the coffins. With a hand sign, he made them disappear.
Anko and Yamato were here.
"Lady Kushina," Anko addressed, "I'm sorry you had to go through this."
Kushina put her hands on her hips. "Oh, it's you, Anko. Last time I remember, you were this tall." She pointed at her hip.
