Tasslik was a good boy.
A very good, soft, and friendly boy.
Isabelle had no idea how he could possibly be a problem for anyone. Ever. Unless they were a threat. And then, yes. She supposed that horn would be rather intimidating to have pointed at her.
The unicorn nickered and nudged her hand. She grinned and rubbed his cheek. He was a sweet unicorn, and he was such a good boy!
The elf grunted. "Well. I don't know what you expected, Tasslik. The Empress has been nothing but gracious."
The unicorn whickered, and then stomped his foot.
The elf sighed.
"Uh. What's wrong?" She asked, and then turned to the elf. "Is something wrong?" She asked. "He seems upset."
"Oh, he's simply sulking." Remy shook his head. "Still, it may be best to leave him be for a while, miss Empress."
"Ah." Isabelle said. "Well. I have things to take care of anyway. I guess I can't spend my whole time forever just standing here petting Tasslik."
I return to the 'fall asleep while writing' thing but it is at least partly the fault of trying to learn tax code now.
