"Creak."
Minnie Wright pushed open the door to the room and saw William Cole changing their daughter's diaper. She walked over with a smile and took the baby from his hands.
"You shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff. Let me handle it from now on," she said.
William chuckled and shook his head, looking blissful, "You're much busier than I am. I treat patients at Thirteen Hall while you're rushing around with contract issues."
"You're the one who deals with the pharmaceutical equipment from Europe. If I let you take care of our daughter too, I'd be inhuman."
Minnie laughed, "It's our child after all. Can men really be more careful than women?"
"You know, this diaper is for daytime use. You have to switch to a nighttime one or she won't sleep well."
William felt a bit embarrassed and obediently moved aside, letting Minnie take over the diaper changing.
Minnie finished the task in one smooth motion and then began to feed milk to Effie Cole.
