"What?"

Minnie held her daughter with one hand while taking William's coat and hanging it on a nearby coat stand, her face filled with surprise.

"You formed a sworn brotherhood with him?"

"What happened?"

"Kevin Lawson is no simple man, given your current identity, why would he enter into sworn brotherhood with you?"

William smiled, poured himself a cup of tea, and took a casual sip, "Mutual use, that's all. He wants to use me, and I want to use him."

"So as soon as Kevin proposed the idea, I immediately agreed."

Minnie's eyes flickered as she looked at William, "Kevin Lawson is different from Old Master Anderson and Jacob Davis; he may seem impetuous on the surface, but he's actually quite deep."
