Hazel Kramer leaned in, wanting to see the note, "Who gave this to you, and what's written on it?"
William Cole quickly folded the note, not allowing Hazel Kramer to see, and leapt up, the content on the note shocking him to his core.
He turned around, trying to find the person who had slipped him the note.
Just then, he saw that person heading toward the exit of the hall.
"Stop right there!"
William Cole took a step forward like an arrow, grabbed the person's shoulder, and threw him into the hall.
The other guests in the hall looked at William Cole with astonishment, as he stepped on the man's chest and demanded fiercely, "Who asked you to give me this note?"
Lying on the ground, the man pleaded loudly, "Ow, it hurts to death, who have I provoked now?"
"Speak up, who asked you to give me this note?" William Cole shouted again.
The man explained innocently, "I can't remember, someone asked for a favor, to deliver this note to you."
"I'm just doing someone else a favor."
