Eddie Brews dropped this sentence and turned to push open the car door, ready to leave.
William Cole spoke indifferently, "You're free to go. There's no need for me to tell Archie Dawn; you won't live for more than a few months anyway."
Eddie Brews's outstretched foot stiffened, then he turned his head to look at William Cole and frowned, "What do you mean by that?"
"What do you mean I won't live for more than a few months?"
"William Cole, are you going to kill me?" Eddie Brews was somewhat nervous.
With William Cole's status and position, killing him would be a piece of cake.
Eddie Brews relied on his last bit of favor with William Cole, and his understanding of him, to believe that William Cole probably wouldn't kill him, which is why he dared to make such a statement.
He was very nervous now, looking at William Cole and asking, "Do you really want to kill me?"
William Cole shook his head, amused. "Why would I want to kill you?"
"Do you think I'm that kind of person?"
