Following everyone's gaze, William Cole turned to Emil Witt: "Elder Witt, would you care to explain?"
"It seems that these seven silver needles are inextricably linked to you, aren't they?"
"Could it be that you wanted Mrs. Cole dead?"
Emil Witt chuckled lightly: "William, I think you have misunderstood."
"How could I possibly wish for Mrs. Cole's death?"
"As for these seven silver needles, I have no idea how they came to be."
"Perhaps Elder Medicine can explain, Elder Medicine, do you know what happened?" Emil Witt looked towards Elder Medicine.
Elder Medicine chuckled softly and spoke lightly: "William, as a physician, do you not know the risk of silver needles breaking inside a patient's body?"
"Everyone witnessed my attempt to save Mrs. Cole earlier. If not for my actions, removing the bullet from within her, she might have been long gone."
"Those seven silver needles were accidentally left inside Mrs. Cole due to her excessively high blood pressure during the rescue."
