Madison Gardner's request was directly rejected by William Cole.
After giving him a passionate kiss, Madison Gardner hugged William Cole in silence for a few seconds, then slowly got up and patted the dirt off her body, "Okay, I'm leaving."
"Thank you for coming to drink with me. We might have a chance to meet again in the future, or maybe never."
William Cole looked at her, "Are you going abroad?"
Madison Gardner smiled and nodded, then shook her head, "Maybe. I'll be leaving for a while. Goodbye, William Cole."
William Cole watched Madison Gardner's retreating figure until she disappeared from his sight.
In the end, Madison Gardner left a sentence that William Cole couldn't hear, "Maybe the next time we meet, I won't be me anymore."
No sooner had Madison Gardner left than William Cole's phone rang with an urgent call that set his nerves on edge, "Brother Cole, something terrible has happened. Mrs. Cole has been shot."
"What?"
