William Cole raised his hand, prepared to knock on the door, but then froze in place: "What? How many people?"
"At least several thousand," he was told. "Their symptoms are mild, with some already coughing up blood."
"But there are three to five hundred who are turning a sickly pale color, showing the preliminary signs of the zombie virus. According to what you've said, I fear they might mutate like Rose Dawn did within a week," Sean Lawson said all in one breath.
William's expression was deathly serious.
If these people were to mutate, then the hospitals of Capital City would be done for.
Moreover, the implications were horrifying. Society as a whole might collapse.
"Sean, I'll be right there. Which hospital are you at?" William asked urgently.
"Capital City First Hospital."
"Right!" William hung up the phone, ready to rush to Capital City First Hospital.
