Three hours later, William Cole and Ricky Davis arrived at the foot of Mount Fuji.
Although the site was a world-class tourist attraction, Mrs. Dawn's mansion built at the foot of the mountain was a no-go area for the many foreign tourists present.
William and Davis noticed that the closer they got to Mrs. Dawn's mansion, the fewer tourists there were. When they neared a sakura bridge, they were stopped outright.
"Halt, this is private territory. Entry is prohibited!"
A Japanese samurai called out.
William didn't understand Japanese, but Davis did. He quickly stepped forward and questioned, "I thought this was a tourist site. Why is entry prohibited?"
"We're tourists here to take photos."
"Could you please let us in to take a few pictures?" asked Davis, showing the samurais the camera hanging around his neck.
The samurais retorted angrily, "No way! Absolutely not! Clear off now or we'll resort to force."
