Early the next morning, William Cole had been busy with some things right up until around 10 am.
After preparing a bit, he set off for Victoria Harbor with a gift in tow.
The distance between Hong Kong and Ao Island was but a sea apart, requiring one to take a boat to get there.
Without bringing anyone along, William Cole came to the harbor alone and it was already half-past ten.
Just as he arrived at the harbor, William Cole spotted a familiar face.
Samuel Jones cheerfully walked over: "Master Cole!"
"Master?"
William Cole looked at Samuel Jones curiously, standing there watching him: "What's with the formality?"
"Why are you suddenly calling me Master Cole?"
Samuel Jones explained with a laugh: "You might not know this, but out here in Hong Kong, status and hierarchy are greatly respected. Given your youthful appearance, if I were to refer to you as Mr. Cole, others might not take you seriously."
