This version of the Inner Canon had additional text compared to the version William had read before.

"Could it be…" An idea began forming in William's mind.

As he sat on the ground and read the authentic version of the Inner Canon in its entirety, it dawned on him, "Could this be the complete version of the Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor?"
