On the other end of the phone, Jones nodded, "I've arrived at Midocen."
"I learned about your divorce these past few days, so I rushed over. There are some matters that need attention, hence the delay."
"Master, there are some things that I must tell you in person."
"Alright, let's meet." William Cole nodded and hung up the phone.
"Minnie, you go ahead. I have some business." William's expression was somewhat grave.
Minnie Wright hesitated for a moment, looking at William. Silently, she nodded, asking no further questions.
She quickly kissed William's cheek and hailed a taxi to leave.
William stood still, his cheek burning.
Just then, a young woman in a red coat walked over. She was tall, about 5'7", with an excellent figure and an extraordinary demeanor. She was clearly a product of a distinguished family.
She looked at William calmly, with an inherent arrogance in her eyes.
She looked like she was used to looking down on ordinary people from a high pedestal.
