A surge of invisible anger rose from Ruth Dawn's heart, "William Cole, can't you tell the truth for once? I really don't want to talk about your affairs today," she fumed.
"I've been trying to avoid those topics and speak calmly with you," he replied.
"Why do you still need to..." she began.
"Your wound is bandaged now; take a rest. I have some business to attend to." William got up, ready to leave.
'Some business' was just an excuse for William. He didn't know how to face Ruth if he stayed any longer.
Ruth furrowed her brows, "Can't you stay with me?"
"I'm sorry, I do have something to attend to," replied William as he shook his head, turning to leave the ward.
No sooner had William left than Ruth's phone rang. "Daughter, it's true about the number one villa in Dragon Soar. Check my Moments quickly," it read.
