William Cole blushed slightly, pretending not to hear: "Minnie, what did you say?"

"I'm asking why you didn't just go all the way with me just now?" Minnie Wright asked in a raised tone intentionally.

"Pfft——!"

Startled, William almost choked as he hit the brakes.

"Drive carefully," Minnie chided, throwing William a glance.

Pretending ignorance, huh?

"Cough, cough…"

Looking helpless, William restarted the Ferrari and continued driving.

Suddenly, Minnie said, "Lil bro, do you want to hear my story?"

"Minnie, go ahead, I'm listening," William nodded earnestly.

Unprompted, Minnie began her tale.

She and Rowan Mann had known each other since college when Minnie had been a student council member.

Rowan's family was poor. They met during a mixer and after that, he began pursuing her passionately. After a year of relentless effort, he finally won Minnie over, and they became a couple.

They became well-known at their university when they got married right after graduation.
