บท 38: Chapter 38 Ruth Dawn, You Win

Looking at the tightly closed guest room door, Ruth Dawn felt an emptiness in her heart.

In the past, Ruth relished the flattery from William Cole.

She enjoyed his obvious deference.

She took pleasure in how he endured her whims.

Now, William's attitude had taken a complete 180-degree turn which Ruth found hard to accept all at once.

Thinking about how she treated William before, she felt a hint of regret in her heart: "Should I apologize to him?"

At six in the afternoon, William received a call from Ruth.

"I'm waiting for you at the Love Sea restaurant."

"What for?" William frowned.

Ruth responded coldly: "To eat!"

After speaking, Ruth immediately hung up the phone.

William thought for a moment, took a shower, and drove his Ferrari to the Love Sea restaurant.

It was a Western-style restaurant that was quite popular in the city of Midocen. Besides being a trendy spot for social media photos, many young people in relationships came here for dates.
