Across Shye stood a familiar smiling face.

After a few more moments, an onlooker named Dogov, who volunteered to be the referee for today's friendly spar, jerked his right arm upward.

"Fight!"

Astonishingly, Siegfried, who usually relied on his great reflexes and masterful counters, was the one who charged first this time, catching Shye, who was also advancing forth, off guard.

Ferociously slashing his wooden sparring katana downwards, Siegfried's weapon suddenly glowed golden purple.

"Voidcutter!"
