"Is something the matter? What happened?" A voice came from the carriage, followed by a middle-aged man and a young couple stepping out. 

They were the employers of the caravan and naturally concerned about any incidents.

"It's nothing, just met a traveler passing by," the old man reassured them with a smile, looking back at them.

The middle-aged merchant and the young couple approached. Alan observed them and quickly deduced that the strikingly pretty young woman was the merchant's daughter, and the man beside her was likely her husband.

"Hello, my name is Harold, I'm a merchant," the middle-aged man extended his hand towards Alan.

"Hello, I'm Alan," Alan introduced himself in response.

"Are you also heading to Crescent Empire?" Harold asked with a smile.

"Yes, I am," Alan nodded.

"That's quite a coincidence. It seems we can travel together for a while," Harold suggested.
