บท 40: Chapter Forty

"Who are you and where are you from?" Ziza heard the question at the same moment she felt his arm circle her waist possessively and pull her into his side. Wordlessly, she curled into him appreciatively, drawing comfort and security from him.

"I—my name is Kevin Collins. I'm from the United States, sir." Kevin stammered with his gaze sliding to the floor throughout most of his reply.

"Perhaps in your country you are allowed to touch other men's wives. But we are not in in US, here we are in the Arabian Peninsula, where it is forbidden for men to touch other men’s spouses. I’m assuming you have a work permit to stay in this country?”

“Yes sir—”

“It is your Royal Highness, not ‘sir’.”

"I apologise sir—I mean your Royal Highnesses." A flustered Kevin choked, his hands shaking at his sides.
