The wave swallowed the energy ball entirely, leaving no trace behind. But the invisible energy wave didn’t stop there—it surged towards the Cruel Bat as if intent on tearing it apart.

‘This is bad! If I let this continue, that bastard will die, and I still need the information in its brain. I can’t let it die right now! I must save him—but first, I have to deal with the energy ball, or more than half of the Monster Kingdom’s population will perish.’

Zheng-Fu was momentarily shocked by the intensity of the energy wave. He couldn’t let the Cruel Bat die yet, as he still needed its memories. So, Zheng-Fu immediately used a massive energy wave to pull the bat’s body toward him, saving it from certain death.
