“We’re ready, City Governor. Let's get started,” Zheng-Fu replied, taking a prepared stance while Jin-Tian did the same.

'Jin-Tian, move in front of me and extend your palm defensively. I’ll handle the rest. Remember, we’re only pretending to defend ourselves; we might need to pretend to get hurt a bit.'

Zheng-Fu sent a telepathic message that only he and Jin-Tian could hear. Jin-Tian nodded slightly and immediately followed Zheng-Fu’s instructions, positioning himself in front of Zheng-Fu, who placed his hand on Jin-Tian’s shoulder.

“If so, then defend well!” Dan-Ge said with a smile before flicking out his palm.
