As they fell on the ceiling of the City Hall, Alex felt the rock deteriorating under his skin, wounding it with every roll. Small stones left the bigger rock as the metal amor clung, hurting his skin and muscles. The creature intertwined with Alex wasn't dead as he had thought for some seconds before; instead, it was trying to compose itself.

The force of the impact diminished. Alex was again able to move, but it was becoming difficult by the second. He felt his attributes lower now that he was away from Bogath, who, even agonizing, kept the spell up probably because of their proximity.

Now, he was full of pain, and his body ached more than on the day he came home from the first police department training. The elf hadn't any profound wounds on his skin except his severed hand, of course. Still, he felt some bones in his ribs broke and creaked.
