บท 231: Chapter 231 : Midori's Wedding Day (1)

Midori and Kiyoshi's wedding took place on an auspicious day two months later. It just happened to coincide with Ame's first birthday. By then, Ame had evolved into a tiny force, full of energy to reckon with. Her tiny but sturdy legs carried her on adventures of walking and running, causing problems for all those who wanted to hug and cuddle her.

Her favorite person remained her "Dada", who showered her with enough love and affection to make her mother jealous.

Not that jealousy had any room in Midori's heart this morning. As the first rays of dawn peeked through the paper windows, Mai and Yuri poured into her bedroom at the Takigawa mansion like a horde of rhinoceroses.

"Ojou-sama, wake up! Today is your wedding day!" Mai pulled the quilt off Midori's slumbering form none-too-gently.

"Young Madam, it is the day you get married!" Yuri grabbed both of Midori's hands and pulled her into a sitting position.
