After a short notice of only two hours, Midori took her maids and her daughter back to her birth family's house. Though Grandpa Takigawa, Shuugo, and Satoru were mildly surprised by Midori's return, they received her with open arms and warm smiles.

"Ame-chan fell asleep during the trip," Midori told her grandfather as she handed her little daughter for him to hold.

"Ohhh, precious treasure. She must be very tired," Grandpa Takigawa reasoned. He gently cradled Ame in his arms, careful not to wake her up.

"Grandpa, Shuugo-Niichan, Satoru-kun, and Midori-chan, we should talk," Arata announced.

Grandpa Takigawa put the sleeping baby back into her basket before he answered, "Very well. Let's go to my private space and talk."

"Mai-chan, Yuri-chan, please take Ame to my bedroom," Midori told her two maids before she followed after her grandfather and her elder brothers.

At Grandpa Takigawa's comfortable living space, water was cooking at the hearth.
