"This is my house," she reminded Ryouichi. "Without my permission, no one may enter."

Ryouichi closed his eyes and sighed.

"I didn't mean to act like the master of the house out there. All I wanted to do was save my mother some face. Midori-san, you... You threw beans at their faces. Why can't you be nicer to your elder?"

Midori's eyes glinted in fury.

"Nice?" She hissed at Ryouichi. "If I want to continue being nice to your family, I wouldn't bother divorcing you! I would return to your house and let them torture me, day after day!"
