The maids and servants who worked at the Takigawa mansion hailed from various areas in Japan.

During the bustling New Year's preparations at the Takigawa mansion, they found themselves unable to return to their hometowns. The cleaning, cooking, and constant snow shoveling in the front and back yards kept them busy from dawn to dusk.

Once the merriment of the New Year subsided, however, the maids and servants were finally granted a much-needed two-week leave. This, unfortunately, left the Takigawa mansion with a significant shortage of staff during the crucial first month of the new year.
