"Gloria, your hands are truly skillful. When I have a child in the future, you must make something for my baby." Clara expressed her delight, observing Gloria's hands, which were much larger and coarser than hers. Embroidering this piece of clothing must have been quite challenging for Gloria.

"Sure! I really enjoy doing this. I even made clothes for Rowan," Gloria proudly presented another piece of her work.

Clara found it a bit challenging to describe this garment. It looked like a sack, but with three holes. Presumably, they were for the head and hands.

Amused by her own creations, Gloria imagined how good Rowan would look wearing it. Clara felt the fabrics and threads. She realized that she needed to make more clothes for Mateo, but with the limited silk and cotton, it wouldn't be enough for winter clothes and quilts.
