บท 54: Chapter 54 - Funeral and Incidents.

Qin Empire, Marquis Lu's mansion.

A grand funeral was held for the unfortunate Lady Lu whose dead body was found hanging on the city wall of South City. Due to the gruesome condition of her dead body, her coffin was closed and nailed tightly, not allowing anyone to have a look at the dead body.

"Lanlan!!! How could you leave us just like that? You have promised mommy that you will accompany mommy to the Fire Dragon Carnival after you are done with your errands..." 

A woman wailed aloud as she hugged the sealed coffin of Lady Lu; that woman was none other than Lady Lu's mother.

"My dear, I am in great grief just as you are, but please don't let your emotions drown you... I am pretty sure that our daughter wouldn't wish to see you like this." said Marquis Lu who was equally sad as his wife but still chose to comfort her.
