Alessandra cared for Hazel who now rested her head on her lap. She didn't know what to do other than to let Hazel get all of her feelings out. "Would you like me to send for Linda?"

"No," Hazel quickly replied. "I don't want to see any of the Hensons now. What if they were all working together?"

Alessandra did not answer Hazel's question because she didn't want to start Hazel thinking about who else had betrayed her. Alessandra didn't know the Hensons well like Hazel did so she was not going to think ill of them yet.

Though Grant was a bad man, Alessandra didn't think all his family should not be trusted just yet. Alessandra never agreed with her father's plans. She knew right from wrong. There was a good chance Linda would be against her grandfather.
