"Well, my intuition is never off, you still hide in that basement when things get tough, isn't that right, Decar," Raphael called out with a smile on her face, her gaze fixed on the individuals in front of her.
"You know my code name?" The wolf man inquired, his stares turning hostile.
"Why of course, well, I guess it's only natural you don't remember me, I've been blessed by my lord to look better." Raphael giggled a bit, her fingers rubbing against the shelf beside her.
"You are only a child." Replied the wolf man.
"You're not wrong, I am only a child, which makes it weird that you don't even remember the face of the girl whose family you murdered, it was only a year ago."
"Uhn…"
"Sigh, so stupid, okay maybe this will jog your memories." Raphael began to pack up her hair in the ponytail, a smile as she asked,
"How about now? Do you remember this face?"
"Strix 24." The wolf man blurted out.
"Ding ding! Correct!" Raphael fell her hair back down, swaying it back and forth to its initial style.
"I…thought.."
"I was sold to the X marines? Yeah I should have been, but thankfully, My lord came to my rescue and gave me a new life to start afresh with." She responded, her fingers locked with a praising expression on her face.
"Strix.."
"Raphael!" She yelled, sending a stern look to the wolf man, "The name given to me by my master is Raphael".
The wolf man sighed,
"What do you want? Revenge? If so, then I can assure you, I'll personally…"
"Oh I'll get my revenge, that isn't going anywhere, but my master's orders are second to none, I'll free the Strixs you have here, and then once I'm done, I'll come back to hunt you down."Raphael threatened, with a disturbing smile on her face.
Zakiel was standing at the entrance watching all the scenes even though she couldn't understand a thing.
"If that was the case then why are you here?" Wolfman asked.
"I came to get some information out from you, firstly…" She pulled out a book, "Who are these Higurashi groups and what is their goal?".
"Secondly, Project Nike."
As soon as those words left her mouth, both the man sitting on the wheelchair, and the wolf man had their eyes widened in shock.
Raphael continued, "What is the Project about? Why are you in need of a Vessel and who is in charge of all these? The god, is that him?".
"I see." The wolfman suddenly began to walk forward, "How exactly did you possess this information?".
"Intuition."
"That won't do, that is classified information, and should never leave this room!!!"
Paaaaaw!
The wolf man launched himself forward, a katana materialing in his hands as soon as he was close to Raphael.
With a powerful slash from his sword, the building they were currently in collapsed to the ground, debris flying everywhere, with dust proofing up to the sky.
From within this dust, Zakiel and Raphael flew out, their legs sliding on the ground with their gaze fixed in front of them.
"Oh my, and here I thought you were a fine gentleman, Decar." Raphael spoke, blood forming from her hand and molding into a blade.
Stepping out of the building debris, was the wolf man, behind him, the man in the wheelchair, his form protected under a barrier.
"I'm surprised you actually dodge that, have you perhaps laid your hand on an artifact that boosts your strength?" The wolf man asked, taking slow and steady steps towards Raphael.
"You think I'm powerful? I'm not even the strongest in Black Haven."
"Is that supposed to be the group of people that attacked this facility?" He asked.
"Ding Ding, correct again, wow, you're catching on quick." Raphael replied with a teasing tone.
"Unbelievable, to think there's an organization out there trying to hinder my Lord's plan, as much as it pains me, even though it's been 8 months since your escape, you already know far too much, you need to be eliminated."
"Zakiel, you know where the demons are, get them out and meet up with O'niel at the river bank." Raphael whispered.
"Eh? You want to take this guy on your own?" Zakiel, a bit worried, questioned her, she could tell that the guy was definitely strong.
"I'll be fine, besides, it's not every time I get to showcase Lord Chaos's power." She grinned.
"Arrrgh! Fine, I can smell Lady Jeanne, I'll meet up with her first,"
With that, Zakiel dashed away, her form moving so fast the wind began to create a barrier in front of her which she used to break through the walls blocking her path.
"Now then… since she's gone, I believe you and I can fight to the death, don't you agree?" Raphael smiled.
"I won't be the one dying …"
"We'll see about that big guy."
Silence took over, only broken by the cries of nearby guards trying to fend off the remaining members of Black Haven.
And then, they snapped towards one another.
With a resounding clash, both weapons collided with one another mid air, Raphael and Decar, trying to push each other back.
"You really have gotten stronger…" The man spoke,
"Took a while to figure that out?" She grinned, slamming her head against his.
The impact sent him flying and crashing to the ground with a powerful thud.
Just as soon as his body touched the ground, Raphael followed, a huge red hammer in her hand, she slammed it on the ground, force from the impact left a huge hole in the ground with Decar lying in the end.
"Oh my, don't tell me that was all it took to kill you." Raphael utterred, peeping inside the hole she created.
But before she could get a good look, a huge force of energy rushed out of the hole, making her to immediately step back with little laughs leaving her mouth.
Decar leaped out of the hole, his body covered in intense magic as he uttered with a dark eerie voice,
"You're not leaving here alive…not with the knowledge you have now, you must die."
