บท 37: Chapter 37 Betrayal

Zhou Tian understood what the choice of the Skeleton King originally represented. Therefore, after the Skeleton King left, Zhou Tian did not make any explicit actions as he was waiting for the current result.

If the Skeleton King was indeed lucky enough to survive, then upon his retreat from the battlefield, Zhou Tian would not, and could not, risk a hard fight against the significantly increased power of the Skeleton King. Therefore, whatever choice Zhou Tian would make at that time would not be surprising, even if that choice was to join the Skeleton Tribe.

However, though the Skeleton King had a decent character, his luck was not yet so extraordinary. So just as Zhou Tian had anticipated, after persisting for some time, relying on his current level of strength in such combat, it was indeed difficult for him to survive.

Now that the Skeleton King was dead, knowing its outcome, Zhou Tian did not have any restraints in his heart. It was naturally time for him to strike.
