It was indeed an absurd rumor, and when Ellen saw the message, she could only muster a faint, derisive laugh.
It was like witnessing something completely unreasonable.
These people, with no evidence, spoke as if it was the absolute truth.
Having always been easygoing, Ellen simply replied to Clinton White with a message, "You handle it."
