"Nurse, please assist the patient to the private room," Drew instructed calmly, though his eyes conveyed a million daggers piercing through Stephen's hands on Cassandra's waist.

The nurse nodded and guided them. Cassandra kept her gaze fixed on the floor, unable to meet Drew's eyes.

God, she missed him so much. All she wanted was to run into his arms and hug him tightly, but she couldn't do it with Stephen holding onto her like she was his possession.

"Come on, walk slowly," Stephen murmured into her ear, and Cassandra instinctively leaned away from him.

She hated his clingy side; it felt more like harassment than care, even though she knew he was trying to be helpful.

Stephen's actions caused Cassandra's brows to furrow, while the nurse beside her giggled like a teenager seeing her crush.

Just as they began to walk towards the private room, Drew's voice stopped them in their tracks.
